May 1, 2013 — Starting on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, Cadence Group will host a four-day AIIM Electronic Records Management (ERM) Master Classroom Course and a two-day ERM Practitioner Classroom Course. Each course promises to provide a unique opportunity for human resources, information technology, finance, and legal professionals in the southeastern U.S. to gain important records management knowledge. Both classes focus on electronic records, and will provide participants with a better understanding of RIM implementation solutions.
The classes will take place at Atlanta MicroTek, conveniently located on Abernathy Road off GA 400, and course registration is now open. Those who register through the Cadence Group website will receive special discounts and can save as much as $599 by registering

Two courses will be offered: The ERM Practitioner course and the ERM Master program. For seasoned veterans who want to take their careers to the next level, obtaining their ERMM designation from AIIM is a great way to jump start that process. In addition to learning best practices and reviewing both theoretical and practical applications of ERM methodologies, attendees will have the opportunity to network with other southeastern U.S. information professionals. The ERM Practitioner course will be presented in the same way and runs June 18-19, 2013. This course covers the lifecycle of a record and related concepts such as
classification schemes, metadata, security, retention, and disposal.
Participants will have the opportunity to sit for their online AIIM ERMM or ERMP exam after completion of the course materials. In addition to the online exam, the AIIM ERMM designation requires a case study exercise.
“In addition to learning from industry leaders and having the opportunity to network with other ERM professionals, these classes are an excellent way for people to really differentiate themselves in the market,” offered Tina Teree Baker, ERMM, President, CEO and founder of Cadence Group. “Organizations also gain critical ROI as access to this information will enable them to mitigate financial and legal risk, share data and knowledge across the enterprise, comply with laws specific to their industry, and increase employee productivity by reduced search time for physical and electronic documents.”
