ATLANTA, GEORGIA – April 2, 2008 – Cadence Group®, an information and records management firm based in Atlanta, is pleased to announce that Daniel J. Beard, ERMM, a records and information management (RIM) professional with more than 15 years of business experience, has joined its team of 50 information professionals as Senior Practice Partner.

Beard is a RIM consultant and advisor with deep experience implementing records retention programs, electronic records management (ERM) solutions, and records workflow processes. He has developed business risk management strategies, developed and implemented scanning strategies for hardcopy records, and implemented business resumption plans to ensure backup of mission-critical records.

Beard has extensive experience implementing document management solutions, integrating scanning solutions into core business services, developing process mapping of records creation, integrating workflow solutions, and training customers on new RIM implementations. Beard’s working relationships include Xerox Corporation, Xerox Global Services, Xerox Information Management, EDS, The PolGroup Corporation, and the banking industry.

Beard earned an MBA degree in Finance from Drake University and a BA degree in Economics and International Business from State University of New York at Buffalo. His professional accreditations include the Electronic Records Management Master Certification (ERMM), Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, a pending Certified Records Manager (CRM) designation and numerous awards from Xerox Corporation. He is active in the Association of Records Managers and Administrators International (ARMA) and Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM).
