TOPIC: Leveraging eDiscovery Products with a Proactive Information Governance Strategy

March 2016 – Cadence Group is pleased to announce that Tina Teree Baker, President and founder of Cadence Group, will be sharing her insights and expertise at the Marcus Evans Chief Litigation Officer Summit on March 20, 2016. The event, which will be held at Red Rock Resort and Spa in Las Vegas, is a premium forum for bringing leading in-house litigation counsel across the nation together with service providers. Ms. Baker will be leading an interactive round-table discussion from 6:00pm to 6:45pm on March 20th titled “Leveraging eDiscovery products with a proactive Information Governance Strategy.” This round-table will cover how, when it comes to your organization’s information assets, a “keep everything” strategy is a slow suicide, and possible solutions to this problem. Ms. Baker will lead the group in exploring new strategies for proactive information governance and discuss the expanded capabilities of eDiscovery product suites and how they can be leveraged to help organize the shared drives and defensibly cleanup the clutter. In all, the round-table will cover:

• Leveraging eDiscovery products to improve proactive management of Electronically Stored Information (ESI)
• Getting Business Unit buy-in for the defensible deletion of Redundant, Obsolete, and Trivial (R.O.T.) information
• Implementing proactive measures that will identify and protect critical and restricted information assets
• Exploring the legal department’s role in Information Governance and Records Compliance.
