Cadence Group (CG) was proud to participate as both a speaker and vendor at the 2025 Georgia Records Association (GRA) Annual Records Conference, held in Peachtree City, GA. The event brought together records and information management professionals from across Georgia’s state and local government agencies for a day of learning, networking, and collaboration.

Representing Cadence Group were Chad Damerell, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and Kiji Burston, Director of Information Governance and Operations. CG’s Director of Information Governance and Operations led an engaging session focused on laying the foundation for a successful Records and Information Management (RIM) program—an essential topic for organizations navigating the complexities of compliance and long-term information stewardship.

Key themes from their presentation included:

  • Evaluating and assessing the current state of your RIM program
    • Understanding where your organization stands today is the first step toward meaningful progress.
  • Building a sustainable future state
    • Designing a RIM framework that supports long-term compliance, efficiency, and adaptability.
  • Developing strategies for identifying obstacles that prevent information cleanup
    • Tackling the root causes of clutter and inefficiency to unlock better governance.
  • Cultivating a culture of accountability and awareness
    • Engaging stakeholders at every level to foster ownership and proactive records management.

Attendees walked away with actionable insights and a renewed sense of purpose in strengthening their records programs. As a vendor, Cadence Group also showcased its suite of RIM services and solutions, sparking meaningful conversations with professionals seeking expert support.

We’re grateful to the GRA for hosting such a dynamic event and look forward to continuing our partnership with Georgia’s records community.
