Tina Baker, CEO of Cadence Group, presented a session on “Developing an International Records Retention Policy and Schedule”

ATLANTA – October 13, 2010 – Cadence Group®, an information and records management firm based in Atlanta, Georgia, is pleased to announce that CEO Tina Baker was selected by ARMA Atlanta, the Association for Information Management Professionals, to speak at the September Education Workshop held on September 21, 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Ms. Baker’s topic is Developing an International Records Retention Policy and Schedulewhere she will address the global business environment and records management pressures facing companies that have an international reach. Discussion issues include balancing risk and cost in developing such a policy and schedule, strategic decisions you need to make when planning your project, and ways to most effectively manage the variations in legal requirements for different countries.

“I am excited to speak on this strategic topic,” stated Ms. Baker. “Many organizations are exposed by the way physical and electronic records are managed. The risks are even greater for companies with international operations. Cadence Group has developed an efficient and cost effective approach to reducing our client’s risk. We work with them to develop and implement compliant records and information management policies and customized international records retention schedules.”
