A consulting firm engaged Cadence Group as a subcontractor to support a medical information client. We facilitated the knowledge transfer of the outgoing CIO. The medical information company provides leading edge data mining of raw patient medical data via a proprietary information model and business application. Cadence Group facilitated real-time knowledge transfer sessions with the outgoing CIO and executive management team. The sessions were conducted in order to educate them on the role of the CIO and the nature of their proprietary information model and business application.

As a result of this engagement, the company was able to perform a much more thorough analysis of new CIO candidates, and we also delivered a 50 page technical architecture document for their previously undocumented mission critical technology.
